Summary: Teddie is sick with the cold, so Souji decides to be a good Big Bro and take care of him. But the first mission: Get past that grouchy lady at the front desk.

[cue disgruntled, tired bear. cue disgruntled tired bear staring at the door, unsure what to do. because disgruntled tired bear is currently in bed, sniffling, holding a box of tissues with the blankets piled on top of him.

he rolls over. whoever was there could probably wait a bit, anyway.]

[Allright, Souji can wait. He's patient. Juuuuuuuuust waiting. Yeeeeeah, juuuust waiting. Fum fum fum la la la~ Shifting his sling bag on his shoulder, fixing his jacket's collar, going into a staring contest with the door plate-- OH C'MON, WHAT'S THE HOLD UP. IT'S BEEN THREE MINUTES.

He knocks once more against the door. C'mon, open up or at least tell him the door is unlocked or something.]

more sniffling from the bear gallery. Teddie is not moving. Teddie Ver 2, now a large Ursaring, on the other hand, is going to lean back against the wall. annoyed. Because he knows whoever is at the door isn't gone yet.

And when Souji knocks again, he feels pity for the poor guy on the other side. So now he's waddling over... and opening the door.

Souji, meet the OPPRESSIVE STARE of a badass Ursaring. who remembers you.]

[Good, the door finally opened-- OH HELLO OPPRESSIVE STARE. MY, ISN'T THIS JUST CHARMING. Sorry Teddie Ver. 2, you're not scaring Souji. You're just getting a lineface since he doesn't do oppressive stares unless you decide to tick him off.]

Teddie, are you in there? [He calls into the room, standing in his spot in the hallway cause hahahaha he's not dumb enough to try and push an annoyed looking bear out of the way.]

S--Sen [SNEEZE] sei!

[the ursaring stares some more before he moves over. slightly. it's a tight squeeze to get inside, souji, but Teddie V 2 is nudging his head towards the bed. which means he doesn't care.

Teddie, on the other hand, is slightly less groggy than he was before. He's getting up off the bed to greet souji, now walking towards the door.]

I'm right here, Sensei! [sneeze.]

[Souji just barely manages to get inside the room with how little space he is given. His bag nearly gets stuck in between Teddie Ver. 2 and the door frame. He doesn't say anything about it though. He's not foolish enough to push a bear out of the way, even they are pretty close in height. He may be able to pack a punch in his right hooks but that Pokemon looks like it can rip his arms off and beat him to death with them...he'll like to stay alive and keep his arms.

When Teddie gets up to greet him, he brings up one hand to make a small wave but....]

Teddie, why are you still in your bear suit?

[teddie's returning that half-wave, but with slightly less enthusiasm than usual. yeah, he's feeling the effects of his cold. behind the both of them, teddie ver 2 shuts the door, giving a slight huff before he returns to his business of looming in the corner.]

It's warmer with the suit on!

[Souji walks over to the small table in Teddie's room to place his bag down upon it. God, that thing is heavy but anyway, attention back to Teddie.]

Do you have a fever? Staying in the suit will just make you covered in sweat.

[A small pause. Teddie brings his hand up to his furry forehead, leaving it there for a moment before dropping it.]

Um... I dunno. It doesn't feel like it.

[Well, Souji is going to check Teddie's forehead as well...even if it's a bear suit...yeah, he knows that but y'know...still checking.]

You should take it off just in case. I'll ask someone to bring up more blankets for you.

[taking off the top half, as requested! teddie looks a bit flushed, but not extremely ill. he sneezes.]
