Log:
It was probably ironic that the thing she was leaning against now was the very same thing she'd dove into and the reason why she couldn't stand on her own two feet for at least another week. But Rise had to admit that Slowpoke Well made for good back support, and she hadn't felt like resting in the Inn. Being outside, watching a couple of tame Slowpoke bask a few feet away, reminded her of being back home, when she'd used to go to the spot overlooking Inaba and just sit. It might have been nicer if the sun was out-- or if there was a breeze, but the weather was virtually the same as yesterday, and it was cold enough at its current temperature without the wind needing to aid it.
Rise shivered, and Hope's suggestion of finding warmer clothes was looking increasingly better. But for now, she had things to do. Like song lyrics.
She had a pad of paper borrowed from the Center after visiting Minnie, and her head was bent as she penciled words, mumbled them to herself, then shook her head and erased them. Why was she so bad at this? This world at least provided her with music to set words to, and she was still having problems! Maybe because she was trying to put her own feelings to song, and currently, they were...
... That her ankle really needed to hurry up and heal itself completely. They probably wouldn't be staying long, and the trip back to Violet was a long one (thankfully made easier by Onix); she didn't want to slow anyone down, but wasn't carrying her hard on Ven?
The idol sighed and shook her head irritably. Enough of that-- this was an important task she had to do right now, especially if she ended up performing at the festival. She had to make these lyrics good.
"But what rhymes with thank you??"
