[the thing about his birthday, Jackal, concludes, is that his best friend happens to be Marui Bunta. for one, his best friend is kind of amazing in all sorts of ways, his creativity when it comes to bestowing birthday wishes being a good indication of his good intentions. for another, when Marui Bunta is creative with his birthday wishes, he is damn creative.
therefore, it's with great trepidation that he sits there at the designated cafe. there'll be a 'surprise' for him, he was told-- and, well, he's to wait for it here. and... the waiting... really doesn't do well for his nerves, haha (and here, he orders another coffee. black, extra strong) but really, if Bunta put in all this effort to do whatever he did for a day like this, well, it'll certainly be worth waiting for.
