Log: Wally has been on edge for weeks. It all started when Rob borrowed Junior to train his stupid Zubat, and it only snowballed from there, gathering up all of their issues-communication, team leader, training-into one giant mass of anger and frustration. It shouldn't have gotten this bad-he should have just apologized the next day for overreacting-but he didn't. He let it get out of hand, he let it get to him-and now everything's getting to him, to the point that he's honestly just looking for a fight, just to get it out of his system. But trying to pick a fight with Rob is like trying to pick a fight with a brick wall, and it's only made Wally more frustrated, festering in his own indignance, letting it build up and up and up, until one day he won't be able to take it anymore and he'll finally just explode.
That day happens to be today, although he doesn't yet know that. Conner, Midori, and Artemis have been pretty good distractions for the almost two day trek through Route 35 and the National Park, but it's been pretty much impossible to completely avoid Rob while they've been going the same direction, and it hasn't helped that every interaction they have had has either been sarcastic or passive-aggressive. But they're finally nearing the split for Routes 36 and 37, meaning they can finally just ignore each other and hopefully get over themselves while they're apart. It helps that he'll be seeing Megan again soon.
It doesn't help that the girls and Conner have suddenly disappeared somewhere-probably just a ruse to get Robin and Wally alone to sort out their problems, but Wally is not in a sorting out problems kind of mood. No, now he's entered the silent treatment phase, but it probably won't last long considering he's Wally and he's always got an indignant remark up his sleeve. Plus, he's still itching for a fight, so even the littlest thing could tip him over...
