Summary: Souji and Yosuke have a fight! All over the house! In front of everyone! And then things happen and Yosuke wanders

{Guess who's wandering around Goldenrod, and who hasn't a clue what has just happened? This shinigami.}

{However, a running not!son friend is always going to catch his eye, and she looks on confusedly as he runs into a nearby alley. Something about him sets off alarm bells, so she walks on over, quiet and careful.}

[In the alley, he is sinking to the ground; he is overcome with guilt and confusion, but he does finally hit a point where his eyes are dry and seemingly unable to produce any more tears.]

[He is trapped in his own thoughts, so he doesn't hear Nanao approaching. He doesn't see her, either, face buried in his hands.]

{She literally drops what she was doing and jogs over when she sees that - what if he's hurt - runs through her mind, and she frowns, because shouldn't Souji or Rise be out looking for him? A fight, then. It has to be that.}

{So Yosuke, you have one (1) electric sheep bleating at you quietly, and one (1) Nanao kneeling by your side.}

I'm guessing things aren't very okay, are they.

[He looks up, abruptly. Nanao is the last person he expects to see right now, and with his mental state... he's not entirely sure anything can help right now. He looks back down, not covering his face, but still looking defeated.]

I just needed to clear my head for a bit, Ise-san.

{She just stays there quietly, running through the possibilities in her mind. It could be a fight, a romantic gesture gone wrong... Teenagers are so complicated.}

Do you want to talk it out?

Not really. [Which is the truth, though probably not the truth that Nanao really wants to hear right now. Too many people already knew what happened, as far as Yosuke's concerned.] I... I'll figure it all out.

{The Mareep baas quietly and nudges Yosuke's knee. Pat me. It might help. :<}

Ye-yeah. [He pauses, looking down at the Mareep, and he decides to indulge. Patting it nice, so long as he doesn't get shocked in the process.] It sucks, but it's just how it is sometimes, I guess.

{Mareep-san bleats and wiggles closer to Yosuke. And no, this sheep knows that shocking people isn't exactly a good thing.}

It's one of those seemingly unavoidable life experiences - we hate how it makes us feel, but we can't seem to find a way around it.

{She pauses to scritch Mareep-san behind her earcones.}

[She may know, but Yosuke is naturally wary after how his own Pokémon tend to be with him.]

Yeah... [He goes quiet, realizing how dry his mouth is after everything.] It's... probably a good idea.

Well then, I know of a lovely little teahouse. {She stands, and extends a hand down for him - if he wants to take it, that is.} It's not too far away, too.
