Ocelot has had to deal with some pretty strange things during his life, from men who shoot electricity to giant nuclear crab tanks. At this point, he's sure Johto has them beat by a long shot. He's bummed around at the Pokemon Center in Violet City long enough to know the different Joys apart by personality and habits, and the job itself isn't that difficult.
The clients, however, are a completely different story.
