[Clover is somewhere in Route 29. Somewhere closer to New Bark Town, as she had just left. It was the only way out of the town, and the first step to finding her brother.
So far, he was nowhere in sight. And she couldn't just sit down and rest, especially as a flock of Pidgeys flew by. According to Ted, plant types were weak against bird types, and those Pidgeys looked very close to normal birds. Clover was pretty sure Light, her Budew, was not yet ready to face them.
They continued to walk onward, Clover keeping Light close to her at all times. Nothing had popped out of the bushes or anything. Yet...]
[By now, Snake had kind of expected a surprise little sister to jump out of nowhere and tackle him to the floor--the fact that he had yet to see Clover worried him just the slightest.
... Of course, one thing he wasn't expecting was for his little Skitty to speed up suddenly, jumping over a ledge in the direction of what she thought was a very familiar looking pink-haired girl, who she had happened to catch sight of by chance.
Snake, on the other hand, is just wondering where she's suddenly running off to.]
-- Clover?!
[the cat one. know that part where there wasn't anything popping out of the bushes? Well, there's a certain Skitty and her trainer doing so... right now, in a burst of LEAVES and NOISE.
...sob that icon is so appropriate right now4leafcleaverJune 4 2011, 05:34:54 UTC
[That voice. Clover promptly whips around toward the source of that call. There was a Skitty, but more importantly...
She's speechless. She doesn't know what to say. Talking to him over the gear was one thing, but meeting him in person was another. After a little over a week that felt more like a year than anything...Clover is rooted to the spot at first, staring at the man who had just arrived. At that moment, it's as if she has forgotten everything else, from her Budew to the entirety of the route.
Clover gasps.]
Light!
[Not the Budew, not the Light hiding behind Clover's legs. Although it perks up with a squeak that goes unnoticed.
And the hug? That will come later, when Clover has regained full use of her limbs.]
clueless!snake is the best snake. ;;poliswagJune 4 2011, 06:56:41 UTC
[For the Skitty, this is yet another successful mission. Excuse her as she begins to roll on the ground in self-achievement, before finally settling down at Clover's feet, observing her tentatively.
Snake, on the other hand, will merely pause for a moment.]
Ah. It seems Clover has found... well, Clover.
[oddly fitting, but he has his full attention on her almost immediately, completely pleased. the skitty looks up at the mention of her name, and then her master's sister's name, flicking her tail.]
. . . I'm glad you're all right. [not that she wouldn't be. but snake just had to say it. It was Clover, after all.]
And now SUDDENLY HUGS4leafcleaverJune 4 2011, 07:08:29 UTC
[Sorry, but Clover's attention isn't on Clover right now. Light the Budew, on the other hand, is now peeking out from its hiding place at the Skitty. It won't have a hiding place for long, because the girl is now going to stride forward (avoiding...well, Clover), open her arms and hug her brother as tightly as she could.]
I'm glad you're all right too. [It was only over a week and she knew he was alive (if anything had happened to him, she was sure Junpei or someone else would have told her), but lkajdlfjadslfk SO HAPPY.
Clover already knew that Snake named his Skitty Clover, but that can be discussed later. Hugs first.]
[oh. oh my. Snake will be accepting that hug with all his love, putting his hands on her shoulders.]
My! You're always so quick to hug. [just a playful observation, because he really appreciates this. she's back now, oh my god. please excuse Snake as he hugs her back--he's missed her way too much.
Skitty!Clover is watching the scene with relative interest, but then shifts he attention to the Budew that was formerly at Clover's heels. She approaches him tentatively, her tail swishing, but doesn't do much else.]
[at this rate he's not going be able to feel his bones. but that is okay because it's clover.]
That's true. It's also been a long time. [sob just holding her tighter. guys it's only been like a week BUT IT FEELS LIKE YEARS.]
[as for kitty clover, she is now going to paw in Light's direction, tentatively. approach closer... and then paw. approach closer... and then paw again.]
[little sister... snake is not going to let go just yet either--though to be completely honest, his body's getting kind of numb from clover's hug.]
Ah. Clover caused a bit of a... detour. [she ran off chasing something, and then hid.
... but, well, at least she's not hiding now. actually, kitty clover is full out in front of Light, now, and she's bringing a tentative paw to his budew-forehead.]
[yeah skitty doesn't care. still shoving. fall over, light. |:
and ah, snake can actually move now. excuse him as he also pulls away from the hug, putting a hand up to his chin in thoughtfulness.] ... Is that what he thinks? [oh, seven.] Interesting.

Seeing you on the PokéGear is nothing compared to seeing you in person. [She just buries her face into his chest.]
[Light is now slowly approaching the Skitty as well after a moment of just...well, standing there. The Budew is a lot slower...possibly shyer?]

Yeah. A really, really long time. Where were you?

Your Skitty? Seven told me about her. He...even tried to impersonate you.

right on top of Light.]
Hm. It's not that strange to name pets after your familiars, however.
