[Yosuke was so tired from working both jobs that falling asleep was the only thing he could think of after closing. Doing just that? Kind of a bad idea.]

Only barely waking up at the building's intense rumble, he scurries to get all of his Pokémon back in their balls and tossing them in his backpack before stumbling out of the room - in nothing more than his t-shirt and boxers.]

[The smoke and debris is filling his lungs as he does so, coughing intensely as he tries to make his way to the stairs, freaking out in between chokes.]

Crap-- Crap! What the-- [Choking a bit.] Souji, what the he--

Crap, Ris-- [Choking some more] Rise--! Are you guys okay!? What the-- [Doubling over to choke some more. Well, fuck.]

[oh god oh god Daisuke can hear somebody nearby as he was ushering his Girafarig, who was holding some eggs in a jacket it has in its mouth, along, leading it to go downstairs, but when he heard Yosuke, the familiar voice made him jump a little in surprise.

He runs into the room, all soaked. His Zangoose had been using Rain Dance, but its area coverage was so pitifully small... probably around the size of two big umbrellas combined. He can't see much because of the smoke and can't see where Yosuke is.]

Is there anybody here?!

[Yosuke drops to his knees, thinking maybe he can avoid some of the smoke that way, since the debris is everywhere and there's not much he can do about it. Unable to really see, he chokes again, trying to hold back a gag and pulling the collar of his t-shirt over his nose and mouth.]

[Until he hears a voice, which he's... unsure of at first. It's definitely not Souji or Rise, though. Wait, he thinks he knows.]

D... Daisuke-kun?

Yosuke?! [He can't exactly pinpoint Yosuke's location and he grows a bit frustrated with each step he takes, trying to find him all the while. He gets another Pokeball and releases his Ditto, who turns into something that looks like a yo-yo, but with bright lights flashing like a police siren.]

I'm going to throw something out. If you see it, please tug on it so that I know where you are! [After extending all the strings he could out of the yo-yo, he tosses it at where he thought Yosuke's voice was coming from.]

K-kay... [He trails off, letting out another series of chokes. Man, smoke and debris SUCKS. He opens his eyes, squinting. He catches a glimpse of it, but it's just slightly out of his range - especially with his perception off. He's trying to crawl forward to it, but gets caught coughing again.]

Crap... I-I see it, but--

Does that mean you're near it? [Daisuke follows where the string went and his Zangoose follows, bringing his small rainclouds along. Can you hear it, Yosuke? The sound of rain...

But then the yoyo Ditto hears Yosuke and starts rolling to where he is bit by bit.]

Kinda. Kinda... can't see much, though. [He hears it, yeah, but he also hears the fire crackling behind him. He's trying to rummage around his backpack and get out Jiraiya for some help in the meanwhile.]

[And his Zangoose shoots a stream of water behind Yosuke, trying to cool out some of the fire. Due to inexperience, it's just a small stream of water instead instead of a huge blast. But it was something.

But bwuh. Sudden Slowbro.]

[Something was better than nothing, and it was surely a hell of a lot better than the Slowbro who was just... sitting there. Not helping at all but smiling like a doof.]

D-dammit... Jiraiya, help, geeze!

Is that Pokemon water type? All water types have been acting strange lately-- [Although this one seems more tame. Thank god.

Daisuke is pretty close to where Yosuke is by now and so is his Zangoose, carrying his clouds of rain with him. Do you feel some water on your head, Yosuke?]

H-huh... oh, yeah. He's always like this, though.

[Which is true. Jiraiya's actually just too dumb to be bothered by the frequency - at least, it seems that way. Completely unfazed, he coos at the water, which Yosuke looks up at. This feels so good compared to the burning hot fire, but he still can't help but cough some more.]

[Hey! The cough sounds like it's... right... next to his feet...

Daisuke crouches down a bit with his Zangoose peering over curiously.]

Yosuke! I found you! [The yo-yo!Ditto cheers and returns to a gas mask, which Daisuke hands over to Yosuke.] It might not be much, but this might help.

[It never ceases to floor Yosuke what Ditto can be capable of. He takes the offer gratefully, putting the mask on.]

Thanks, dude. [After a second, he stands up, though his eyes are still bleary from the atmosphere. But there are more important things...] Have you seen Souji and the others??

[Why would a Ditto know what a gas mask looks like, I wonder...]

Souji might be checking in the other rooms to look for everyone else or outside to try and control the Gyarados... I'm not sure--

[The wall starts collapsing, bit by bit because of the fire.]

... But we should get out of here really fast.

Cr-crap... [He looks at the collapsing wall, face growing a bit pale -- he's worried about the others and leaving them]

Get outta here, Daisuke-kun. I'm gonna run back real quick and make sure everyone's out from this side first.

Do you have any Pokemon besidess... [He glances over at Slowbro.] ... that that can put out the fire and move things out of the way? You could probably catch on fire.
