Alois had enjoyed the recent swarm of bugs. They had been an exciting addition to Violet City, he thought, and a great time to learn more about this "Johto" but he had done less information gathering and more battling to his heart's content. It was a pleasant distraction from the recent events from his Life in Johto, Fluttershy's presence notwithstanding.
But without the swarm, Alois was getting bored again. And being bored, with a lot of bug-types, and nothing in particular to do, he decides it wouldn't hurt to at least see the Violet City Gym. He half skips towards the large building to the beat of the Violet City theme, humming the melody to himself as he made his way through the small crowd. He wasn't sure what to expect, but it had to be worth his time.
