(no subject)
I spent the xmas eve at home, 25th december at my cousin's in Helsinki, the boxing day and 27th at home (I was supposed to go to shopping on 27th, but I woke up a bit too late).
28th was Miia's (
kattidya) bday, so I bought a card & rose and went to her place. We ate some marmelade sweets, salty biscuits and crisps and tried to watch a movie, but the dvd was from the library and too scratched, so we just decided to go to Myyrmanni. Miia's brother was making dreadlocks in their bathroom and I though that the door was having a lock problem.
For xmas I got:
A grey mouse pad with silicone wrist rest
A retractable mini usb optical mouse (I prefer my old mouse though)
A weird scart-connector thing which allows you to plug 3 gadgets to a TV scart plugin
Pralinés supérieurs (sea shell shaped chocolates)
A book, Valkea talo jokivarressa (A White House by the River) by Raija Oranen
A pair of warm black socks (unfortunately too large, size 39/41)
A pair of black woolen mittens with grey decoration
A dark blue fleece scarf
Anne Lind strawberry body lotion
2 fake tealight candles, which are in fact led lights powered by batteries
2 cups for tealights made of purple glass
A 355g bag of Dutch Klene salmiakki
2 S-shaped chocolates (white & dark chocolate)
And what I really wanted for xmas was a new digicamera (Canon Digital Ixus 860 IS or 950 IS would have been fine) and then a Nokia N81 with 8Gt memory, a good laptop, a trip to London, an apartment in Helsinki (prefarably within 2km from the centre), a cool sports car with automatic gears (Pontiac Firebird maybe?). I always ask for too expensive things?
Then dad promised to buy me some clothes because he didn't get a me a bday present. So on 28th he bought me:
A huge black & red Adidas bag (people usually use those for carrying sports equipment)
A pair of black Mexx pants
A black pullover
A black longsleeve cotton shirt
I was looking for a nice jacket/coat but didn't find any (one looked nice but they only had it in XS size). I also bought myself a new bra (size D80, from Lindex), some very cheap body butter (only 1€, also from Lindex) and then I tried to find nice clothes from Seppälä but as there were none I bought only an eyeliner pencil.
I had sushi the first time in my life with Miia in Myyrmanni's Wellness café and it had quite a mild taste (except the wasabi paste, that burned my mouth like habaneros in tabasco sauce). I don't think that they had real Japanese soya sauce there, probably some cheap one from the supermarket, because what I have heard, real Japanese soya sauce for sushi (genen shoyu) is less salty than a normal one.
After I got home from Myyrmanni I took a long nap (probably 4h), because I slept so little last night. I also had a walk with Awwu, but it was rainy and windy, so we didn't go far.
Some of my presents that haven't arrived yet, but I know I'll get (unless the postal service is an arsebiscuit):
Norwegian chocolate from Linda, a viking drinking horn made of real cow horn from Jamie (
opethian23) [and some other viking related stuff as well?] and The Sims 2 Pets from Tatiana (
shadow_wolfess).
Soon will be the cool gigs at Nosturi!!! And I put a new memory card in my camera and now I can take 1100 pics (though my camera is crappy).
