Our old oil furnace had a faulty 'eye' so it would sometimes decide that it hadn't started when it HAD started because it couldn't see the stupid flame, so it'd shut down and I'd have to go down and manually start it. Pain in the ass. x.x
Turns out it was some loose wires or something. >.>;; It's like every winter it has to do this to me and it never happens in the morning on a weekday. ALWAYS at night on the weekend so we have to suffer through a night and sometimes longer with no heat.
I think your downstairs heater is jinxed or something.
You could've come here to sew Kaith's clothes. Mom would share her sewing machine, and it was much warmer than 47 degrees in our house (gah, I just want to cry just thinking about that). Of course, yesterday I was lousy company, too -- cold, achy, snotty in my nose, stupid wind sucked the air out of my lungs and gave me an asthmatic coughing fit, hip hurt, knee was SCREAMING, and generally grumpy (mostly because my body just ACHED). I finally broke down about 7:30 last night and took a Lortab. My all-over aches went away (especially my back), but my hip and knee still hurt (though not as much).
Yeah. If I'd just taken the damn pill earlier, my day would've been better, but I feel like such a junkie when I take more than one every couple of weeks. Stupid, I know.

*returns hug* I know on some level it really wasn't a bad day, I just seem hung up on all the bad stuff that did happen.
