JESSE is walking from the building within the after-school exodus of students.
DANIEL spots her and runs to catch up.
DANIELJesse!
She turns and waits for him.
DANIELHey.
JESSE(curtly)Hey.
DANIELSo, how 'bout that Molly Ringwald night?
JESSEI already returned the movies.
DANIELThen, how 'bout a John Waters film extravaganza?
JESSEDon't you have plans with Johnson's daughter?
DANIELNope.
JESSEAwww. She cancel on you?
DANIELNope. No plans. I just want to hang out with you for a while.
Beat.
JESSEI've got "Pink Flamingos" in my locker.
Daniel smiles as Jesse runs back to the building.
KRISTOFER approaches.
KRISTOFERHey. Um. Can I talk to you?
Daniel looks startled.
DANIELYeah.
KRISTOFERI just want to apologize -- for the other night. I was drunk -- and ---
DANIELOh. No. It's - um - yeah.

Hey. I'm meeting Christine and Nikki for coffee. Wanna tag?
DANIELOh. Sure.
They begin to walk off.
Jesse emerges from the building holding "Pink Flamingos" and "Pecker."
JESSEHey. I had "Pecker" in there too....
She looks up to see Daniel walking away with Kristofer.
Cut to:
INT. BUS. AFTERNOON.
KRISTOFER sits next to the aisle looking over to DANIEL occasionally. Daniel peers from the window.
KRISTOFERI really didn't mean to ---
DANIELIt's okay, Kristofer. Really.
He smiles.
Kristofer sighs and reaches into his bag. He pulls out a small black portfolio.
KRISTOFERI brought a few pictures. They really suck. I was a little slow on the timing on a few of them. And some of them I just....
He hands Daniel the portfolio. Daniel begins to flip through.
DANIELThese are really cool.

Oh god! Do Christine and Nikki know you took this pic?
Kristofer laughs.
KRISTOFERNo. Thank god.
Daniel laughs.
He turns the page to the picture Kristofer had snapped of him in his bedroom window as he spotted them going to the Vault.
KRISTOFEROh. That was ---
DANIELI looked so different then.
KRISTOFERYeah.
They both let the discomfort slide as Daniel continues flipping through.
Beat.
KRISTOFEROh
-he reaches passed Daniel to pull the stop alert.-
This is our stop.
Daniel closes the portfolio and hands it back to Kristofer.
DANIELThank you for showing me that.
KRISTOFERNo problem.
They walk down the aisle as the bus stops.
DANIELI'd like to see more.
Kristofer looks back blankly, then smiles.

They exit the bus.
