Things had been a bit quiet. After being muted, the American nation hadn't really been around many people. He was still out and about, but he spent more time in thought for those few days. America really did have a lot on his own mind so he hadn't noticed at first. Though he lived with England, he hadn't seen a whole lot of him lately. At first he thought he was spending more time out doing other things away from him, cause they didn't need to be attached at the hip, but then he started catching glimpses of the older nation every now and then. It wasn't pretty and even America had to take notice. It was at this time that America figured out that England hadn't even left the apartment for anything.

Suddenly, his own problems didn't seem that important. If England was acting like this, America knew it had to be pretty serious. From what he recalled, the older nation had always been able to keep it together. Maybe England was taking things here harder than he thought. He stood in the doorway to their little apartment, having already gone out for some reason or another and sighed.

America was sure England was still in his room and decided it was time to stick his nose in the others problems. He couldn't stay in his room forever after all. If he could fix it or help him out, he'd do it in a heartbeat. They were friends after all and he wouldn't be much of hero if he just left him to his own devices when he was obviously in need. Walking across the room, America knocked on England's door.

"Hey, England? Can I come in?" He asked. Of course, he'd come in even if the older nation told him to go away.
