Summary: CLU has recruited Ivan to his cause, and they are getting together to talk to more about his plans.

The former ruler of the Grid was happy to see that several new citizens of New Ashford were considering his proposal of working together. All he needed were the Users, and what better way to gather the Users together but for a common cause. It was apparent that the Users saw these defected Users as a common enemy; they didn't want them in New Ashford and that was completely evident from other Users that had been here prior to his arrival.
One User in particular that identified himself as Ivan seemed interested in discussing things over with him before he agreed to anything. This intrigued CLU for it appeared that Ivan was not a typical User. Another thing that intrigued CLU was the appearance of a Bit program in New Ashford. Bit programs were more common in the old Grid system where his original program was created, but he had never used one himself. However, if this Bit's programming was designed to obey a program's command, it would be to CLU's advantage to aid this Bit for his own purposes.
If Users were capable of such great things like he was told long ago, his plans would go without fail. So long as Tron did not interfere with any of his plans. Tron was a separate issue he'd have to deal with later. For now his main concern was rallying enough interest to gather supporters to his cause.
CLU waited at a lone table within the tavern, his hands folded over and he leaned back in his chair comfortably for the others to arrive.
