Posting this early 'cause the middle of the night is about the only time I have to do anything *grin*.
Warning for gregoria44 : meerkat alert...but you and haldoor might like a little something else in 'ere.
Hmmm...two weeks worth - where to start?
With a fat squirrel, of course:
And these next ones are the first of the bigger attempts (A3 instead of A4 - according to the genius art teacher, my confidence is growing!). However, the camera flash lightens them (and drives me mad) and they are too big to scan.
To illustrate my point, a partial scan which shows nearly the true colours, and then the full-size version taken with the camera.
So although this pic of Jensen is a bit crap (but the art guru *grin* said the picture I was working from was overexposed so it was an okay attempt - which made me feel better) it also isn't as light as this in RL. Hmm an overly light photo of a pastel done from an overexposed photo. Confused, anyone?
And the final one that made my art teacher squee - apparently it's the best I've done because it shows I'm relaxing. *shrugs* Whatever keeps 'im happy. Another one that is nowhere near as light as this in real life!
