NaNoWriMo 2012
IT'S NANOWRIMO TIME!!

What I'm doing this year is insane ambitious--I'm trying to do 2 NaNos at the same time...
The first is the actual "write a 50,000 word novel in a month" and the second is what I'm calling "FanDomWriMo", and that stands for 'the month in which I attempt to write 50,000 words total for various fandoms due to writing challenges and exchanges I have signed up for. D: *slides shades down*

It's going to be one of those YA paranormal 'romance' things. At least, that's how I'm going to lure readers in before they realize it's actually a horror story. MWAHAHA.

A. The Secret History AU (fusion-type thing). I couldn't help but notice some of the similarities between S2 and the book. If you're unfamiliar with the story, a group of college friends accidentally kill someone one night and then become convinced that one of their members is going to tell the police about what happened, so the rest of the group plots and carries out his murder. In this case, the group would be the pack (Derek, Erica, Boyd, Isaac, possibly with Scott, Stiles and Allison) and the friend they murder to keep him quiet would be Jackson. Pairings would probably be any and every possible combination (likely including Scott/Allison, Scott/Isaac, Jackson/Lydia).
B. Pack-fic, future-fic in which the existence of werewolves is revealed (a la True Blood) and the effect that has on the pack. Various fluid pairings within the pack.
C. Post S2 (canon-compliant until S3) Boyd/Erica. Boyd and Erica escape Beacon Hills and the Alpha Pack together and go on a Bonnie and Clyde meets Robin Hood spree across the country.
D. S1 AU role reversal of Allison and Scott. So from-a-family-of-hunters!Scott and new-werewolf-with-plucky-sidekick-Stiles!Allison. Allison centric. Allison/Scott/Stiles (and all combinations there of) with bonus Allison/Lydia, Scott/Jackson.
Who else is doing nanowrimo this year? What's your story about? Would anyone be interested in an online writing and/or support group? We could have "write-ins" where we all just stay wherever we are and write but are doing it at the same time.
