The Wager

In the midst of working on a story, I find myself working out a little character problem. I'm attempting to take a highly liked secondary character and turn him into a complete bastard, yet retain enough redeemable qualities that readers remain sympathetic to his plight.

It's not like I'm asking for the moon or the stars or anything.

The Fates have decided to align against my sorry ass because I have deigned to write a Snape-centric fic featuring an OFC love interest.

As with most things regarding the creative realm, it's either feast or famine.

At the present time, we're in Feast mode. I've got so many plot bunnies running amok in my head, it's not even funny. I'm currently working on a multi-chapter fic, several drabbles and a couple of ficlets. In other words, life is good.

After a long stint in the advertising world, I'm returning to my first love... writing. Specifically, fan fiction centering around a certain tall, dark and utterly complex character who has become, for lack of a better word, an obsession.
