17 days until Half -Blood Prince
Well, I've reread the Goblet of Fire and Lauren and i are currently on page 179 of Order of the Phoenix, which is a bit slow going since i'm reading it aloud again and it's hard for us to find time when we both aren't doing anything. I plan to reread the Chamber of Secrets at lease since it's supposed to link nicely with Half-Blood Prince. I should be able to read Sorcerer's Stone and Prisoner of Azkaban too....since 17 days is obviously a nice chunk of time and it's more than likely i'll be able to read them all.
I hope also to have my liscence by then, so that i wouldn't have to pester mum and dad with dropping a crowd of people off at twelve in the morning. I'm glad too that most people i'm going with are going to dress up... i'm still debating between costumes currently and i need to find lauren a tail and little ferret ears. It's so much more fun dressing up and i think steve will make a great harry, although if he could convince andrew to go as the weasly twins it would be awesome too. teeheehee.
o0o0 i've also been reading through The Plot Thickens....Harry Potter Investigated by Fans for Fans, but instead of just reading it i've done a sticky note and highlighting frenzy on it. Some are so interesting and i love that only two, i believe, people who wrote editorials in the book are my age or younger. The best is the person who gave their age as "old enough to be a member of the AARP" and another said "same as Snape." It's also cool to see entries written by fans from Germany, India, Argentina, the Netherlands, Australia, Northern Ireland, Spain, Denmark,and of course England even though the majority are from the US.
