drabble: Cold
Written for wiggiemomsi, who bid on me during the Support Stacie September auction. Her prompt was Rose/Ten II and "cold".
“Who would have thought that Alaska gets so cold in this universe?” the Doctor asks.
Rose sneezes. “I did tell you. Several times.”
The Doctor sits down and puts his arm around her. “Better?”
“Some.”
He takes out his new sonic screwdriver and aim at the fireplace.
Flames shoot up. “Now?”
She sighs happily. “Much.”
“All we need now are some marshmallows.”
“I have a better idea,” she says. “I’ll show you the best part about being human.”
“What’s that?”
She whispers it in his ear. He blushes.
“Well, that does sound like fun.”
“Oh, it is,” she assures him.
