Ink for the cause

I got a tattoo last Sunday for a benefit.
In Chattanooga Tennessee if you have ever hung out downtown at the local bars (which I do frequently) there is more than a good chance that you have met the wonderful local named Sandy Bell. You would know it if you have seen him. He is always dressed to impress from head to toe and riding an equally elaborate bicycle. If that wasn't enough the final give away would be his huge smile and handful of flowers. Sandy passes out flowers and love all night long in our night life city just wanting to spread joy where ever he goes.

Recently the community caught wind that Sandy was going through chemotherapy, so they decided to have a benefit show for him. This benefit show grew into a huge city wide thing! Sunday was Sandy Bell day and everyone had jars out for him, shows playing for him everywhere, there were belly dancers, fire spinners, silent auctions, bands and Tattoo artist all raising money for him.

I was the lucky lady who got the first "OH MY!" tattoo (Sandy's catch phrase)

It's a silly little spur of the moment $30 tattoo but it's adorable and went to a wonderful cause. I
am proud to say I helped the flower man!
