hooked on a few things recently.
1. Takami Koushun's Battle Royale.
seriously awesome book! kester said the movie was awesome. but i found the novel in kinokuniya. i thought it was an american or something wrote it, but apparently it was written by a japanese, adapted into a japanese movie, manga, and now an american movie!
it's set in a dystopic (YES, LIT STUDENTS 8DD ) world where a class of students are chosen to undergo a program that's like battle royale style- the last man standing wins. so they are forced to kill one another on this deserted island if they want to survive. very interesting book.
while researching about it online i got very scared that i might find plot twists or spoilers so i searched with extra precaution XD
2. Beatles songs.
only got into them yesterday. i was inspired to go check them out after reading this fantastic hetalia fic: http://community.livejournal.com/hetalia/335261.html
3. CANADA!!!!!!! OH MAN I DIDNT KNOW HE WAS SO CUTE!!!! i cant help but feel so sorry for him after reading the recent scanlations at hetalia community.
that black guy was cuba by the way 8D
