Wedded bliss
FINALLY we are married!!
I don't mean to brag, but the wedding was perfect. Everything arrived on time, everyone was well behaved, nothing really went wrong. Those from the Canadian side who could make it had a great time and my side had a blast as well. I'll be posting pictures very very soon. I had three lucky signs happen to me as well.
A) white doves randomly appearing whilst doing much needed chores the day before the wedding
B) getting pooped on by a bird the day before (it's good luck and I'm sticking to it)
C) a ladybug was enamored with my wedding bouquet
The honeymoon was AWESOME!
We went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic and stayed at the Barcelo Bavaro Deluxe Luxury Resort. We had the honeymooner all inclusive deal. Our room was fantastic as well, we stayed in a suite that had not only a beach view, but had beach access as well. If you walked out the front of our porch, you'd be right on the beach. We went on a jeep safari, did zip lining, horseback riding, snorkeling, golfing, and went on a spa boat. And of course there was a lot of fine dining, swimming, and buffet eatting.
The only sad part about all of it is that Casey went back up to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada on June 7th. :(
But the good news is that now we are looking into buying a condo up there. I'll be moving up there as soon as all of the visa requirements are taken care of. In the mean time we are looking into condos and town homes to start our new lives together.
