Pffft
I am done, holidaywise. I am nicely rested and looking forward to going back to work, though it has been gd to have time to cook, for example, pasta with fit!tomato sauce that takes an hour and a half to do.
Easter was gd. I had churchage, then bring&share lunch in la belle France, then came home and made short work of the poor unsuspecting easter bunny I had been keeping in the fridge. Omnomnom.
Easter Monday was the "birdmarket" here in Lux - not real birds but little glass/terracotta/clay ones that twitter if you put water in them and blow. Unless you get the cheap version I did that sounds like a small child playing the recorder, lol. After going round the stalls, I met up with friends from church and we went to Bergdorf for a picnic and a walk in the forest, which was lovely, followed by a short visit to Echternacht AKA Little Switzerland (ja aber nein aber ja?).
Tuesday I was a nerd and went to the 4th Luxembourg Intellectual Property day, to get a bit more background on all the trademark cases I do, then cooked the aforesaid fit!sauce before Bible study. I'm leading next week's one..eep!
Wednesday was interesting as we had a visit from the police. Needless to say, I am still a bit edgy! Went to MUDAM in the eve as per. There was a new exhibition opening, which meant free cocktails...nice.
Friday I met up with the girls in Scotts Bar for (inevitably!) the Royal Wedding, then we had a leisurely lunch at a little Italian place, tasty times. There was a brief but heavy storm in the 5 mins it took me to go from there to the library..whut? Spent all eve at Mark & Merlika's engagement party and got home around 2AM, so an early night tonight I think!
Am a tad concerned that is now the end of the month and I don't seem to have been paid yet. Hopefully Monday?
