Hello all,
This is a bit of a mass email/BLOG/Message to let you know of my upcoming television appearances. I'm going to try and send each of you a more personal email sometime in the near future.
First and foremost I wish to stress that you are not required to watch these. I do not consider this the end all be all of acting. However, since enough people have expressed an interest in saying "there he is" at the brief second of television I am occupying I figured I'll let you in on where to look for me. And, I am grateful for those who are cheering me on no matter how brief the work may be at this time.
For those completely lost I have made two television tapings (as a lowly background actor/extra) in upcoming episodes of "Shark" and "ER"
"Shark" - with James Woods airs Thursday, Feb 15th at 9PM (CST) on CBS. I encourage you to check your TV listings and also video tape this. I might go by in the blink of an eye. I'm in a scene that takes place on top of a parking garage at the Los Angeles Airport. A powerful judge (played by Tim Matheson) finds his wife has been murdered and arrives to view the body. I am a member of the press who tried to get an interview. I'm holding a TV news camera and wearing a green shirt. The best place to spot me is after the judge argues with James Woods he goes to get back in his car and I'm right on top of him trying to get a shot of him as he drives off.
"ER" - the long running medical drama on NBC. My episode airs Thursday, Feb 22nd at 9PM (CST) I also encourage you to check your TV listings and also video tape this. I might go by in the blink of an eye. Slow mo playback is encouraged here. I'm in the emergency room set itself as a pizza delivery guy (ironic isn't it). At one point you might see me in the far background through the glass security doors approaching the security guard. But, the best chance to spot me is just after "Morris" (a red headed doctor who is a bit of a screw up) is talking to an older “Spanish Man” about the object he has now removed from his rear-end. "Morris" will sharply tell the nurse
"Just give him the translation".
After this start looking. The camera will follow "Dr Kovach" and "Nurse Sam" around the desk as they talk and then two gunshot victims are wheeled in back to back. Don't watch them but instead keep your eyes glued to the background near the elevator. It is near the sliding glass security doors. I am wearing blue jeans, a black shirt with matching ball cap and large winter coat. I am holding a large black pizza bag and waiting on the elevator. I am playing with a dark green scarf and turn to react. ("Oh My! Those people have been shot")
As I said you may want to try this one on slow-mo. It is very fast and my shot may be edited out. Who knows?
Thanks for all who continue to send words of encouragement and I'll try and keep in touch as often as I can.
