Superlatives rant.

Sep 20, 2005 22:38

These senior superlatives get the better of everyone. Not going to lie, I'm into them too, it would mean a lot to me to be voted Headed for Hollywood aka the stupid nickname for Class Actress. But they're making a lot of people bitchy and vindictive and snobby... frankly, I just don't need it right now. In a perfect world, they'd be a real ( Read more... )

Well Ms. Lewis life is a bitch is it not? But you know what, life does not revolve around your petty little world. Fortunately for you, you live in a tiny bubble, protected from the true outside and true pain, so quit your little princess rants and take opportunity as it comes. Do not bring others down, when truly they do deserve things over you, whether it be grades, shows, or god forbid, senior superlatives. Because honestly, you are only in high school, and trust me when I say high school is basically bullshit, and yet you get ruffled about everything in it. You would not survive a day in the city, so I suggest you stay away from big cities. Because comparatively, you live in Voorhees, NJ, a town where everyone is well off. I wonder what internal struggles you would have if say you live in New Orleans right now, or how about Darfur. Yes, you would not survive a day, because your petty little internal struggles are selfish. If you want advice, I will give it to you straight and clear. 1. Get over yourself. 2. Your ( ... )

it's best not to live comparatively. while it is quite important to recognize other harsh conditions in the world, you cannot completely ignore your own concerns. you cannot be selfless without being a tiny bit selfish, it's not healthy--as long as you are able to recognize your areas of selfishness. kim is allowed to be concerned with whatever it is she wants to be concerned about. as is anyone.

Thanks for trying to bring me down. You seem like a very warm, uplifting, optimistic person.

Oh, and don't think for a minute I'm giving you the satisfaction of being successful... you'd be wrong. Again.

Don't like it? Don't read it. Have a nice day, I'm sure your lovely attitude will take you far in life.

P.S. Honestly -- and this is a serious question -- don't you have anything better you could be doing than getting yourself worked up over silly LJ entries and bitching about them? I marvel at people with your kind of time on their hands... really, how do you do it?

dude, at least she is doing something of substance with her life that she enjoys and happens to be really good at. Your just being a dick, and frankly, I can't respect that at all. And i'm sure every victim of hurricane Katrine would be pissed that you are using a tragedy in their life to put down one very smart, talented, and wonderful girl. If you really wanted to help someone or try to make a difference, go help organize a fund raiser and try helping peoplein need instead of putting others down. You'll feel a lot better and so will everyone else.

P.S
: Kim, i think your awesome, even if you hate me a lot (cause i deserve it). Don't let popularity contests bring you down cause you are such a dramatic over-achiever (pun fully intended).

Thanks Eric, I really appreciate your kind words. I don't hate you. I may temporarily be disapproving or feel hurt or whatever but I would never say that I hate you as a person. I recognize that you're acknowledging what went on and taking responsibility (very maturely I might add) and reaching out to me and I appreciate that.

and thanks for reaching back a little, it makes me feel a lot better. I"d like it a lot if we talked sometime and tried to salvage back somewhat of a friendship out of all of this.

P.S: despite my recent adventures in the world and everything in the past while, two things have remained constant... I still thik you rock and I still can resist cheesecake in any form (dually noting coldstone cheesecake ice cream)

P.P.S. I think i died a little bit tonight when i thought about it and didnt have any

P.P.P.S. Let me know when you performing and such, cause i really sucked at coming to see you in stuff and rumor has it your pretty damn good

P.P.P.P.S. I'm getting completely rediculous

P.P.P.P.P.S. big booty parties with theater kids count as popularity bonuses, so i think you win

P.P.P.P.P.P.S now i really miss kyle, i havent seen him in so long and he rocked too

P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S your getting-into-college skills are so much cooler than these bitches i -have-stupid-friends-whocan't-think skills

P.P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S i think im done for now

Yeah? Who's spreading that rumor, 'cause I want to make them my new best friend, lol.

I'm stage managing fall play, so I won't be appearing in Inherit the Wind.

Is East doing a fall show?
