Red Bud Tree and Mystery Plant
About 30 years ago one of my dearest friends gave me this tiny little twig of a redbud tree and we planted it at the edge of the herb garden. I am amazed that it is still alive as these trees are not long lived, but she carries on year after year. Now split down the middle and with many lateral branches it is a favorite place for grandchildren to climb and right now in full bloom and awesomely beautiful.
And then there's the mystery plant. For the life of me, I can't remember it's name. I do know it is a wort of some type. It has quite lovely blue and pink blooms and spotted leaves. Maybe some one of you will know it's name?
