Get Your Mon-ON
Well, I am here live, updating for all of you folks in Greencastle Indiana. Home to farmlands as far as the eye can see, die hard NASCAR fans, ONE large Wal*Mart and of course DePauw University. This weekend is probably the most important of the entire year... the famed Monon Bell Game is tommorrow at 1pm.
Most of you are probably saying to yourselves, "big deal"... and normally you would be right. However, this is the biggest game of the year, against our biggest rivals, The Wabash Little Giants (an all men's college to our north, more on this in a moment). In other words, for those like me who couldn't tell you the difference between a football and a twinkie, its the biggest excuse of the year to get trashed and stay trashed for a consecutive 48 hour time period. Its inevitable, EVERYONE I'm talking the entire campus is going to be shitfaced beyond compare and having a great time doing it.
Tonight is also Jenna's senior dinner, which should make for an amazing kick off to the weekend. I know that I will definately be prepared. I'm of course at work right now in the music library, but don't you worry, I have a nalgene bottle of boone's farm ready to take to orchestra rehearsal with me, and the New World Symphony will sound that much more lovely to me. My parents will be rolling into town tonight at some point, and I get to wake up early tommorrow morning and have some beer and eggs with all of my best friends and then roll out to the game! Its going to be pretty much a great time...
