Girls... I need you all to listen to me carefully. There's a man here, Alexis Hargreaves, father of Lord Cain Hargreaves. He's a dangerous and cruel man, and he's an enemy to all.
Tonight, I'm going to lay charms on you three. They're for your safety, and will make it impossible for you to be found by him if I don't want you to be. I fear that he will attempt to harm those close to me to try and harm me as well, and I'm only going to use this spell on you three because you live with me.
I want you all to promise me you will not approach him, or be influenced by him. If he speaks with you, behave normally and promise him nothing. Another you must be aware of is Lord Cain's manservant, Riffuel Raffit, who is also dangerous. I do not know how much of a threat he is, but he's in league with him. That makes him a risk enough.
You're precious to me and have given me a family better than I could ever have dreamed of. So let me do this for you, okay? If anyone needs warnings, then don't hesitate to tell them and help if anything happens.
