Recently I've had adventures. Emily visited some, which was nice.

During the time she was here, at the Fremont Sunday Market, I walked into an easel and broke the glass on a painting which was nominally $75. The guy sold it to me for $33, which was all the money Jess and I had on us. I thus wandered around the market with a rather mediocre painting of two cockatoos for a while. This involved explaining to many people why I had the painting. Eventually some nice older man told me he thought the painting was beautiful, so I sold it to him for $20.

I have also climbed a lot.

Now I am washing all my clothes and packing them into boxes in preperation for moving north on saturday. It turns out that I have both boots and a library book I was unaware of.

idea, my laptop's, power connector seems to be broken such that if I wiggle it a little, the cable disconnects and she turns off (as the battery is mostly empty and this happens approximately every twenty minutes.). I have spent a fair amount of time figuring out how to open her, and I have ordered a new connector off the internet.

adventures, emily
