Otakon Progress Photos
Here's some proof that I've actually been working on stuff. ^^;; And of the various costume bits laying all over the place at the moment.
First off is my Takuto cosplay so far...
Its not that impressive right now despite how many hours have gone into it already. x_x Still a lot more to go... lol It looks so plain without its bling.
Back of Takuto
...which I'm not totally happy with. The little welt-thingy is really bothering me. I think the one side is slightly smaller than the other and that's what is throwing things off. The more I look at it, the more I'm thinking of taking it off and redoing it. x_x
Takuto pants
Yay for details no one will ever see. ^^;; As the coat hides the gold bits entirely but hey at least they're there. But unless I get some serious wind action going on at the con, it won't be very visable. Especially as the boot covers will go up to my thighs too. But oh god these pants! I'm not allowed to gain any weight before con. X_X I don't know why I bothered with the pockets as I'm not going to be able to put anything into them (except maybe thin pieces of paper). 'Cause otherwise it'll show. And you can see the outlines of the pockets when I have them on. Ehhh at least it gives me a little more protection in the front area? ^^;;
And now onto the commissions...
F'ing Squall...
Jacket is done. And have the one belt done. Just have to make the other belt but I can't until I figure out the buckle. Frustrating as that's the only thing left keeping it from being finished.

Still obviously in-progress. Lining not even attached yet. But check out those shoulders! I loves them. Wire became my best friend. XD Been having fun making this one.
