Big News Time

Hey all. Sorry for my extreme disappearance again; I've been busy as heck and just kept forgetting to post on LJ. But, now I have news for the telling to make up for it! Pat and I are getting a condo! Not just moving out, or renting an apartment, but for reals buying a place! Together! We put an offer on a place that was bank-owned, and they countered with something not unreasonable, so we're taking it. It's a little scuffy, and needs to be cleaned, and furnished, and whatnot, but it's going to be ours!

Hmm.

Now we need a bed.

And furniture.

And paint.

And appliances.

And I need to find a new job.

Is this what grownups feel like?
