Because I really love Christmas
1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?
Hot chocolate. With marshmallows! (duh! Why would you drink anything else?)
2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree?
No no no, you have it all wrong- I wrap the presents. Lots and lots of them.
3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?
Colored icicles!!
4. Do you hang mistletoe?
nope
5. When do you put your decorations up?
Ummm, whenever there's time. Looks like this year we're shooting for new years.
6. What is your favorite holiday dish?
Pumpkin pie. Close second is mashed potatoes.
7. Favorite holiday memory as a child?
Filling each other's stockings late Christmas Eve. We'd have to go hide in our bedrooms while the rest of the family stuffed our stocking.
8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?
I always knew the truth about Santa...my parents wanted to focus on family members giving gifts to each other instead. Now the tooth fairy, that's another story.
9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?
No!!!!!!!!!!! You can't play with anything on Christmas Eve! And it spoils the surprise!
10. How do you decorate your Christmas Tree?
Don't even get me started! But let's put it in a nutshell that each family member has a box with their own special ornaments and we all sort of help winding the lights around and putting on the glass balls.
11. Snow: love or hate it?
Love it because I don't have to live in it.
12. Can you ice skate?
It sounds strange, but only with hockey skates.
13. Do you remember your favorite gift?
Yep- my graphics tablet. That one was a complete surprise.
14. What's your favorite thing about the holidays?
Family mostly, good food, just the general business and good-will atmosphere.
15. What is your favorite holiday dessert?
pumpkin pie
16. What is your favorite holiday tradition?
probably setting up the nativity scene on Christmas Eve., it's a whole family thing with all the lights off and only the fire in the fireplace burning.
17. What tops your tree?
I beat-up cardboard gold star that each kid takes a turn putting on- except we can never remember who's turn it is.
18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?
Definitely giving. The scheming and plotting is so much fun!!!
19. What is your favorite Christmas Song?
"Hark Silver Bells" Especially when sung by a quartet with all the 'dings' and 'dongs'
20. Candy Canes! Yuck or Yum?
yum. the blueberry ones that die your mouth purple for days are the best.

A new cell phone- but probably not getting it.
