30 Days of Books! Day One.

Day 01 - Best book you read last year
I read an obscene amount of books last year. 128 to be exact! Picking a favorite is always super hard, and going by the GoodReads star system, I liked quite a few of the books I read last year. I'm going to go with The Girl Next Door by Jack Ketchum as my favorite of the year though.

It's obviously not for the faint of heart, but it's incredibly thought provoking and easy to find yourself placed into the story. I would be so engrossed that I'd feel like I was the main character at times. Definitely the kind of book that stays with you long after you've finished.
