Just got a book list from my professor for a class I'm taking this fall, Literature of the Fantastic. The titles in bold I already own and the ones in italics are the ones I am buying. The rest I'm getting through OhioLink (wonderfully comprehensive library system of all the university libraries in Ohio).
It's rather shocking that I don't own a few of these... the C. S. Lewis one especially, but as I already had to dole out $50 for a another text book earlier today, I'm feeling thrifty.
The Road to Science Fiction: From Gilgamesh to Wells (Vol. 1-3)by James Gunn
The Archetypes and The Collective Unconsciousby Jung
Bulfinch's mythology The Hobbitby J. R. R. Tolkien
The Tolkien Readerby J. R. R. Tolkien
Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkabanby JKR
Macbethby Shakespeare
Draculaby Bram Stoker
Out of the Silent Planetby C. S. Lewis
2001: Space Odyseyby Arthur C. Clarke
War of the Worldsby H. G. Wells
The Grass Dancerby Susan Power
Something Wicked This Way Comesby Ray Bradbury
The Stars My Destinationby Alfred Bester

I'm going to be reading a lot this semester I see. O_o Although, I suppose I should be used to it by now. *L*
