Writing woes

So I wrote this ME3 ending fic that made me happy and others happy too! And then I had ideas for a sequel and maybe enough to make it into a trilogy.

I started writing this morning and it was going well... and then it kept going and going and now it feels like the road to nowhere and nothingville. It feels forced and cramped and I'm feeling very blah about where I just left off.

Why can't writing come as easy as the first story every time? ;__;
