Reads...
I seem to FAIL at LJ recently. When I did I stop updating so frequently?
Anyhoo... I picked up Princess Academy by Shannon Hale over the weekend as a possible gift to my niece for Easter--wanted to see if it was age-appropriate (she's 9). But it was a good read: nice characters, good world-building, and I'm sure I've heard the name "Shannon Hale" before... was it from one of you? Not sure...
Also am reading Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller for my book club. It's pretty intense stuff. I haven't had to think deeply about some of these issues in awhile, so it's nice to get some mental excercise. On the other hand, after a long day at work I almost don't want anything except fluff--mind melty, no worky!
And what's with the hullabaloo about LJ censoring fanfiction or something? What did I miss? *puzzled*
