conquered (just not by me)
After work yesterday I went by the shop that usually does my car repairs. One of the guys came out and popped the burned-out headlight bulb in about three seconds. The secret? PUSH REALLY HARD on that lever mentioned in the manual. I honestly don't know if I could have gotten enough leverage; I had already tried using a flat-head screwdriver to push against it with more force.
Anyway, it's done. No charge, either. (I honestly didn't expect that they would ask for compensation, though I did offer. This is a really great shop, with *gasp* honest employees.)
Working on popcorn fic in the sunroom today. Only two more chapters to go, and they have extensive notes and even little sections of dialogue already written.
I may go outside in a bit; it's surprisingly beautiful outside, even though it's already November.
