I've been talking to
lls_mutant about it. BSG remix will be coming back! Keep an eye on
bsg_remix for sign-ups soon. You'll have at least six weeks to write your remix, and the minimum story length is five hundred words, so this is nicely low-key way to try a remix if you haven't done so before.
Quick reaction post for TV/movies. (Really quick. I'm grading papers.)
I spent most of Iron Man 2 hoping that the villain would kill him. Or Rhodey. But not really Rhodey 'cause I like him and that would be sad for him. And then the last thirty minutes lots of things blew up and Scarlett Johanssen looked like a video game avatar, so it was better. But wow, still not particularly good.
Fringe was exciting! And I actually yelled at my computer screen a couple of times! (Mostly "Noooooo, no killing our Lincoln Lee!" But he was okay, so that's good.) And I still have no idea what's going to happen, but hooray for less-evil Walternate making a less-evil plan.
What is that other Broyles doing? Shape-shifter? Being blackmailed? Convinced he's doing the right thing?! I'm still waiting for my Olivia to come back, but I was entertained well enough this week anyway. I hope the network and the show producers can figure out if there will be a season five before they finish writing and producing all of season four.
Parks and Recreation pleased me much more this week than last week. Ben and the guys hanging out and making those ad voices was the highlight. Or, no, Paul Rudd acting like a six year old was. Or, wait, Leslie tackling Ben at the TV station was definitely the best! Heeee!
Once Upon a Time is still slipping a bit in my estimation. Not a dramatic fall, but it's still on a downward slope. I find I have little tolerance for Rumpelstiltskin in fairy-tale land. As Mr. Gold he's far more interesting. Mysterious stranger is pretty and has more chemistry with Emma than poor pretty Sheriff Graham, so... *shrugs* Plus Graham's death served well to point out just how far Regina is willing to go, even on this side of the spell. I guess what I'm saying is that I miss Graham some, but it's not AN EVERLASTING, ACHING VOID, y'know?
please don't hate me for not really caring
End of the super-fast post. Expect a recruitment post about Person of Interest tomorrow! I have actual numbered points on why you should watch. It's so unlike me!
