The Plague
I hate being sick. I know that no one likes being sick but I really hate it. Unfortunately both myself and my daughter have been sick as dogs all of last week. I got diagnosed with bronchitis and she got diagnosed with strep throat. She got sent home from school on Thursday and I ended up coming home from work early that day. Friday I sent her to school so that she could go on her field trip, I stayed home because I felt like I was going to die. Granted I was feeling better than the night before but I still felt awful. I ended up getting not 1 but 2 phone calls from the nurses office on Friday. The first was to see if it was ok to give her Tylenol, the 2nd was because she had a fever and needed to get picked up.
Luckily we're both feeling much better now. I still have a bit of a cough and am exhausted but she's feeling great.
