This Past Weekend

Yeah I know I didn't wait a month to update my Live Journal it's amazing.

I just wanted to give a quick little blurb about my weekend and then I'm done.

Friday was one of the best days I've had in a really really long time. Work wasn't overwhelming and it wasn't so horrendously slow that I wanted to fall asleep. Plus I got a great little surprise around 11:15 or so. After a very nice lunch at my favorite little sandwich and bagel place with the biggest fibber I know, it was back to work for a few hours and then it was time to rush around before heading out for Philly.

Philly was really great, the past two vampire games that I've been to have been the most fun that I've had in a long time. I guess it's Fate's way of trying to make it up to me that I'm going to be missing both my home game and the big event cause I'm going to be out of town.

Saturday was nice and relaxing. I got to spend the day lounging around with my little girl, watching movies, relaxing, getting tickled time and time again. And then there was a very nice dinner, even though the weather was crappy. Then more movies and cuddling and then getting to go and hang out with people I haven't gotten to hang out with in a long time.

Then there was Sunday.. oh Sunday. Sunday I get woken up at 6:35am to my cell phone ringing. I thought that it was just the daily alarm on my cell that I had forgotten to shut off again but when I got 1 missed call I got a little confused. Then my house phone rang. "Hey Kristen it's me, I'm sorry to call you so early but well, my water just broke." OH.. well ok then... The whole reason I got said phone call was because a certain huge fibber was staying at their house and since they were on their way to the hospital, I made sure that it was ok that he come over and sleep for a few hours. What's funny is I was able to get off the phone with the woman in labor, ask my parents that it's ok if said big fibber comes over, and call said big fibber, before the Daddy to be could get down the stairs to let said big fibber know that he had to get up.

Let me tell you how much fun it is to try and wake up a 14 year old at 7am on a Sunday. Not so much.

Mason Dixon was slow, since so many people were attending a wedding, but it was good. I got to see some really great role play and I'm looking forward to the next game.
