Driving By Myself
I was nervous as all get out but I finally did it. It takes me almost a week after I actually get my license but I went out driving by myself on Thursday. I went to the 711 near my house and then I went to a nearby grocery store. Big mistake. I should have realized that the day before a big snow storm is reported to hit, everyone would be flocking to the grocery store. But I made it in and out in one piece and I didn't even wreck the car which is always a plus.
My hubby and I are still having a ton of trouble with the stupid car dealership that was supposed to fix our brakes. The part is in but when the hubby went to them to get it installed, they told him that he didn't have an appointment. Which is a bold faced lie because I was the one that set it up! Needless to say we were both a little bit miffed. They told him that they could fix the car that day but that he would have to leave it with them all day, which of course he couldn't do. I swear I'm never letting him go to this place again. But hopefully this will be fixed this upcoming Friday and we won't ever have to go back there again.
Well the sidewalk is beckoning me to go and shovel it, so I should probably get to that.
