Low Expectations
After reading some comments about the latest episode of QaF my expectations were so lowered that I found the episode quite tolerable - boring, but tolerable. Even Debbie and Mel didn't annoy me as much as they usually do

I refuse to think that we are the only ones! There must be hordes of us, shaking our heads and muttering in disgust.

Now, now, let's not get overboard with despair and madness. There is some lovely, calming tea, dear. Drink it, you will feel so much better afterwards!
I so agree about keeping secrets. People forget how much damage they can do by violating a trust. Me? I've got secrets I'd love to tell, but I'll take them to my grave anyway.

This disrespect for other people's privacy is the main reason I am one of the few people who hate the character Chloe on Smallville. I was on the staff council for quite some years and pride myself on never blabbing about anything I wasn't supposed to. That's why people still trust me with stuff that is confidential. And in personal relationships I think it is mandatory to respect everybody's right to his/her own secrets and honor confidence whenever offered. I think this should be upheld whether one likes and respects the person or not. Only in a few, select cases can the breaking of trust be justified when it is absolutely necessary to prevent a higher evil. I am quite passionate about this sujet, as you can see and have to be careful not to get too preachy about it.

Isn't it lovely? I'm not too crazy about the colour usually but this is one extraordinary beautiful rose and it is called "Mainzer Fastnacht", refering to a town which is only 50 km from where I live.
By the way, my real roses have plant louses which hinders their bloom. I hate those suckers and will buy poison to kill them this weekend!

You know I can't stand her either, and for the same reasons. Right from S1 I saw her as a much greater threat to Clark than Lex could ever be.
