Summer winding down.
Uniforms are bought. Backpacks are at the ready. And Miles is in for a rude awakening. That's right folks. Summer vacation is drawing to a close. Just shy of 2 and a half months.
Other than laundry and a trip to the store for provisions and a new Xbox game, I found time to catch up on unwatched dvds. Or actually just one. I managed to finally see the entirety of SG Ark of Truth. Or whatever it's called. That first SG movie they did. I'd never managed to catch the whole thing at once.
I've dvr'd the Torchwood miniseries. And was already spoiled about one of the episodes. So at least I'm prepared. Dustin thinks I'm stupid as it is. I don't need him to see my reaction to that. And I dvr'd Dr Who. I actually really need to go check that it didn't get cancelled by any of my family. They're known to stop and delete things and not say anything.
And in the "I feel old" category. I just hired a freshly graduated Engineer Intern. Who went to college for engineering because of Katrina. She wanted to help rebuild.
