Just a friendly reminder....

Nov 03, 2007 13:13

I just wanted to remind everyone (at least most of my Friends here in the USA) to change your clocks tonight.

Perhaps this will little article will interest some of you. A Mom on my homeschool message board posted this a couple of days ago.

2007 Daylight Saving Time Date Change

On 8 August 2005, President George W. Bush signed the Energy Policy Act of 2005. This Act changed the time change dates for Daylight Saving Time in the U.S.

Beginning in 2007, DST will begin on the second Sunday in March and end the first Sunday in November.

The Secretary of Energy will report the impact of this change to Congress.

Congress retains the right to resume the 2005 Daylight Saving Time schedule once the Department of Energy study is complete.

This year it ends November 4 at 2:00 A.M.

I owe many emails and I have not checked my Friend's page for a couple of days. I hope to get caught up later today and on Monday.

I feel rude when I disable comments but I am so far behind with online stuff that I'd better do that. My main purpose for posting was just to remind you about changing your clocks back.

Oh, and the reason I am feeling "good" is because I finally switched my children's summer clothes over to winter this morning. We are supposed to get a big cold snap on Monday so I decided I'd better not put off that dreaded chore any longer. It went a lot faster than usual this time. Hooray! I don't have to deal with changing clothes over again until the Spring!

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend!
