Treasures!
Finally had a free day.
Well, actually, I've had a few free days.
Technically, they were free, cause I wasn't at work.
Time wise, they weren't free, since I was busy doing housework, yardwork, laundry, and a bunch of other stuff that accompanies a job, bills, and living.
So, while it might have been fun to hang out with friends - if they were available - I decided I have been embarrassed enough by the state of my car.
Rather, by the backseat and the trunk.
In my car, I found:
Three sweaters I'd been looking for.
Five books I know I own, but haven't been able to find.
One pound of candy (suckers/lollypops, gum, coughdrops/vitamin C drops - all of it wrapped),
A six pack of tea - yes, TEA. Snapple and Lipton are my preferred drink.
About a month's worth of newspapers I haven't gotten around to reading.
That's not taking into account all the napkins and other odds-n-ends (string? Rubber bands? Hair ties? Bandaids? Where did the plastic twisties come from?) that were floating about on the floorboards in the backseat trunk.
Cleaning out my car might have gone faster if I'd borrowed the neighbor's wheelbarrow to haul everything away.
Well, at least now I know what I do have.
*sigh*
Not looking forward to my next free day.
Then again, the closets (junk drawers), need a good cleaning and revamp too.
Maybe I should hold off on eliminating useless junk for the day the trash man goes by.
Naw, that'll just give my procrastinator impulse more time to hide stuff that should be tossed.
