Anybody seen the news lately?
No, I am not talking about the local news - boy meets girl, girl climbs tree, throws stuff at boy.
No, I do not mean the relationship news - did you hear, Adam likes Eve? No way? What's Eve think about Adam?
No, It's not the end of the world news either - we are gathered here today to remember Honor, Courage, and Truth. They are succeeded by Loyalty and Patriotism.
No, I am not brining up sports either - the Olypmics are off to a rousing start! Albania leads the metal count (Alphabetical order before any metals are handed out).
What I am talking about is this political reform of our health care act!
"Obama Care" and "Affordable Health Care" and whatever else is being tossed about.
Just mention health care and *BAM*
Fur is flying, fists are bloody, faces are streaked with tears.
NO BODY IS LISTENING TO ANYBODY!
Tea Partiers say they want to help. Obama followers throw mud, chanting "We want change!"
Republicans warn about possible consequences due to changes being implemented. Democrats go right back to blaming LATE and EX presidents for our CURRENT problems.
Left wing activists are suing right wing activists.
Right wing stanch supporters are crying 'Foul, foul' as are stanch left wing supporters.
WHO IS RIGHT?
Don't tell me that the answer the English teacher told is works - 'it's all interpretive'
'what do you think the writers are trying to tell us?'
'what does this mean to you?'
IF WE CAN'T WORK TOGETHER TO FIND A SOLUTION THAT WORKS, WHY ARE WE BLAMING THE PAST???
