TITLE: Unruly Consequences
RATING: K+
SERIES: Generation 1
Warnings: umm, none?
CHARACTERS: Prowl, Smokescreen
SUMMARY: Misbehaving friends - can't live with them, can't live without them.
PROMPT: Smokescreen/Prowl - I knew you were trouble
Prowl vented. He disliked interrupting his work to go refuel - which, happened all too frequently, in his opinion. He also disliked postponing the paperwork and bureaucratically red tape. The reports seemed to multiply whenever he looked away for just an instant.
Smokescreen didn't hang his head, as humans were prone to do in similar situations. "It wasn't my fault!"
"It's never your fault, Smokescreen," Prowl stated emotionless. " It's always somebody else's fault.'"
This time, Smokescreen did flinch. "Need to come up with a better excuse?"
"I'd prefer it if you didn't get into these situations." Prowl deadpanned. "Alas, I knew you 'can't help yourself' when the opportunity presents itself." The black-and-white Praxian shrugged. "Comes with the territory, I suppose."
A weak laugh from the other Praxian. "Hey, yeah. Did you refuel yet?"
"No I haven't."
"Good, cause I found this most wonderful place the other day and --" Smokescreen, forgiven for the minor altercation already, waxed on about his newest favorite oil-house.
TITLE: Unforeseen Side effects
RATING: K+
CONTINUITY: Generation 1
Warnings: Pre-earth fall. Wait, that's timeline - warnings is none
CHARACTERS: Moonracer, Skywarp
SUMMARY: Decisions can help, Decisions made can hurt. We won't know until the dust settles which way the choices we made today will impact the future.
PROMPT: Skywarp/Moonracer - racing
Moonracer looked at the ruins behind her. The paths were buried under rubble, the streets had become mounds of shattered buildings, and the homes ... the homes with their inhabitants were just gone.
Moonracer looked up, searching for the flyer who unknowingly saved her spark. If they hadn't been engaging in a typical past-time, then she too would have been caught up in the blast.
Unseen, unnoticed by the few scattered survivors, Skywarp veered off. It was stupid of him, to go antagonize a ground-bound into racing when he knew the attack against the city could commence at any moment.
Why? He asked himself. Because I am Skywarp! he told the inner-voice that continued to berate him. I can - and did - warp out instantly. I was in no danger - unlike that pretty femme below.

REALM: TF Prime cartoon
Warnings: Nada
CHARACTERS: Cliffjumper, Optimus Prime
SUMMARY: When nothing is familiar, instinctive reactions take over - Cliffjumper tends to open mouth and insert foot on the best of days.
PROMPT: Optimus Prime/Cliffjumpber - initiation
Cliffjumper looked around. "Nice digs," he experimented with the local lingo.
Ratchet huffed and snarled as he left the unexpected arrivals. These two were their reinforcements? The Decepticons wouldn't need to do any fighting to wear down the Autobot numbers.
Arcee just gazed at the rock face around them. "Seriously? You couldn't do better?"
Bulkhead went "ugh," while Bumblebee warbled an explanation.
The blue motorcycle nodded with understanding while her companion, the red muscle car, exploded. "What do you mean 'This is the best the humans could come up with'? We're fighting a war on their planet and we get the dumps while they live in prime real-estate?"
Optimus Prime just gazed at his crew. They left without a word. "Arcee, I need to speak with Cliffjumper - you make reconnect with him, later."
"Will do, Prime," Arcee stated, leaving Cliffjumper alone with Prime.
Cliffjumper thought about arguing, snapped his mouthplates shut. "I let my emotions get the better of me. Old failing."
"Nonetheless, you will restrain your temper at all times. If we allow ourselves to suffer from infighting, we cannot form a proper defense against the Decepticions, nor will we be able to take the fight to them.
"Agent Fowler has been most helpful, in his role as liaison to us, and it is imperative we do not rile up his anger."
"Some things are beyond our control, bossbot." Cliffjumper stated without rancor.
Optimus Prime nodded. "This I know. But, being few in number, we are not able to fight both the humans and the Decepticons. I would rather not involve the humans at all, but as this is their planet, we must respect their rules and wishes, if at all possible."
"Got it, no riling up the locals - just defend them without getting killed in the process." Cliffjumper looked around the old silo where Autobot headquarters currently resided. "Any chance of exploring the scenery? To bet a better grasp on patrol routes and stuff."
"It has been some time since the Decepticons last made an appearance. You will get your chance to scout this nation and other countries soon enough."
