Too soon to tell - too early to celebrate or mourn.

Jan 21, 2017 20:16

WHY is there a spirit of fear, a spirit of dread, a feeling of emptiness upon the land?
Just because Obama left the office of president?
His second term was up - legally, constitutionally, and morally it was time to pass the baton of leadership on to the next Civil elected president.
Oh, it’s not because Barack Obama and Michelle are no longer in power - but due to the fact Hillary Clinton (former First Lady), lost the race and was not there to receive the reigns of authority.

WAKE UP!
It’s not time to mourn - the Obama’s are still alive and kicking - just behind the scenes.  They impacted the nation in a huge way, hired people, placed others in position, fired some, pardoned a few - their impact is still felt today, and will be felt for a long time to come.
Just because it is not HIS name on the paper, on the orders, does not mean Former President Obama is gone for good.
Only after he has passed from this world, will it be appropriate to mourn his passing.
Please stop this crying and bemoaning for times lost - it’s been only a day (two, depending on which side of the Greenwich International Date line one lives), since he left office.
Be strong and support those he wanted to favor.

WAKE UP!
It’s still too early to celebrate.
President Donald Trump has opposition on every side.
Well, maybe not from his Cabinet and chosen Advisors, but from the public (media?) and traditional, and Establishment.  Oh, and the inertia of government - Government always has a hard time accepting change, even if everyone working in the system are working to make a different - to be something other than what-has-always-gone-on/been-done.

WHY are we dismayed by the fact Madam Hillary Clinton was the runner-up, and not the President-Elect?
I’ve heard it said that WHEN she got to the highest position of power and authority possible, she would have done everything possible to ELIMINATE part of the United States Bill of Rights!
That’s right - those “pesky second-amendment” people, the pro-gun individuals who are willing to fight for the right to PROTECT THEIR LIVES, THEIR FAMILIES, THEIR HOMES from government takeover, would have seen the very basic law that allows them the RIGHT, no the PRIVILEDGE to protect what is theirs from unjust government.
Take that right away, and America becomes just one more dictated country, where the people have no say to who will lead them, where the families cannot choose what they will do for a living, where individuals are in fear for their very lives.
Take away our Second Amendment, and The United States of America is no longer the land of the free.

In this respect, Donald Trump was a better choice - he wants to keep the Constitution (which has been in effect since 1789, and has had ONLY twenty-seven amendments - ten of which became known as the “Bill of Rights” and are as well known, if not better known, that the original, unaltered Constitution of the United States of America) intact.  Hillary Clinton wanted to tear out the parts that offended her (and her supporters).

So, I ask again:
Why do you cry for the past?  It was just yesterday (or the day before), that the transition of power happened.
Please stop behaving like children who can’t deal with receiving bad news - you’ve had two months to get used to the idea that Donald Trump and Mike Pence were taking over; surely it didn’t come as a surprise to see Madam Hillary Clinton sitting in the sidelines, watching as someone else was sworn into office.

I adviese taking a stance of wait and see.
If you like what’s actually happening - and not what’s rumored to be occurring - then support our new President.
If you strongly dislike the direction Donald Trump is taking, then go out and make your opinion known.   Just no riots, please.  Shouting mobs of protest don’t do much beyond getting a lot of people hurt and businesses destroyed.
