Old electronics

*sigh*

It's time I start looking for a new phone.
Current cell is giving increasing signs it will break down - and sooner rather than later.
Just earlier this week, (not once, but TWICE), it shut down without warning and refused to reboot for several minutes.  And no, it wasn't due to a dead battery.  (Though, the battery isn't holding charge like it used to either).

Should keep my options open, but I know what I don't want.
I do NOT want a smart-phone.  What do I need with all those apps that will drain the battery and reduce it to maybe eight hours of life before recharging becomes necessary?
A touch-screen is not what I'm intersted in.  If I had to, I could get used to it, but I want a phone that doesn't act like a laptop/ipad or similar.  Keyboard is prefered.
Not sure I want a two-year (or three-year) contract, but if I can't find a decent (a.k.a. waterproof, and durable/hard-to-crack), phone, I will take a look.

Eventually.

Best to start looking now while the old one still works (and I have time to peruse my options) than find out one day I NEED IT, but it has given up the electronic ghost completly.
Plus that way, I won't loose all the contact numbers in one fatal swoop.

What I really need/want a cellular phone for is primarily texting and talking ... not that I do a lot of calling.
