A few things are becoming obvious at this point

1. I need coffee
2. I am out of practice of reading serious literature ( much as hate using the words serious and literature next to each other)
3. Nabokov is a consummate writer - that i suppose surprised no one

It's that time of the year again and this time i am doing it properly not just short posts on facebook but actual blogs so to the  first order of business  
1 ) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?
    Kiev, Ukraine - therefore do not be surprised by some Ukrainian and Russian authors today
